Dance and Cheer Results

Congratulations to our Cheer and Dance teams for their performances at the Idaho Classic Dance and Cheer competition this past weekend in Pocatello. Dance took home 5th place in Kick, 4th place in Hip Hop and 3rd place in Military Varsity Cheer placed 3rd overall Great Job Ladies!!

Hailey Woods: Distinguished Student Award

For the second time in as many months, a Meridian High School student was awarded the Distinguished Student Award presented by KTVB News Channel 7 and the United Dairy Men of Idaho.  Senior Hailey Woods has been a four starter in soccer for the Lady Warriors and has accepted an academic/athletic scholarship to the College

NCAA Letter of Intent

Senior offensive/defensive lineman Richard Bettencourt signed his official letter of intent to play football at the University of Wyoming on Wednesday December 18.  Richard will be graduating early from Meridian High in order to enroll at Wyoming for the spring 2014 semester.  In the picture, surrounding Richard from left to right is Luke Wolf MHS

November Blue Collar Winners

Nov (November Poster) Congratulations to Bryce Fox (Wrestling) and Claire Tingey (Dance) for winning the Blue Collar Award for the month of November.  Bryce was nominated by Travis Houde.  Travis said that Bryce has not missed one 5:30 a.m. workout this year and that he always gives max effort at practice. Olyvia Czopek Wins the Distinguished Student Award

Wyoming Bound

Senior Offensive Lineman Richard Bettencourt has committed to play football at the University of Wyoming.  Richard was an All SIC Honorable Mention during the 2012 season and also lettered in Varsity Basketball.

Blue Collar Award

Next week, the first Blue Collar Athletes for the 2013-2014 school year will be announced.  This award goes to one male and one female student each month that is involved in Warrior Athletics/Activities.  Criteria for winning the award is as follows: The award is intended to go to those students that put forth maximum effort
