College Signee

Earlier this month, senior softball player Shelbie Martinez signed her Letter of Intent to play softball at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa.  Martinez, who also starts on the Lady Warriors basketball team and was awarded the Blue Collar Woman Athlete of the Year last school year will start her collegiate softball career for the Crusaders

Peregrine Elementary

MHS student-athletes made their monthly trip to Peregrine Elementary on Friday November 21 to eat lunch and enjoy the snow with elementary students.

Little Warriors

Parents who have children in the 3rd, 4th or 5th grade can sign their kids to be a part of the Little Warriors program at Meridian High School.  The kids will be taught fundamental skills by MHS players and coaches and will also play games at halftimes of the boys and girls varsity basketball games.

Boys Basketball

Due to the cancellation of practices today November 14 and tomorrow November 15, the following try-out and practice schedule will be followed next week: –  Monday November 17: 3:15-5:15 (try-outs) –  Tuesday November 18: 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (try-outs)  / 3:15 – 5:15 first practice for Soph/Frosh, JV and Varsity.


All games, practices, activities are canceled for today November 14 and tomorrow November 15.  This is a directive given by the West Ada School District’s main office and is a decision that runs parallel with what the Boise School District is doing as well.  Please be safe out there


Due to today’s weather, information regarding Boys Basketball try-outs and Girls Basketball practices will be released at 2:00 today by the West Ada School District’s Office.

Distinguished Student Award

Congratulations to senior girls soccer player Christina Schram for being awarded the KTVB News Channel Seven’s Distinguished Student Award.  This is Meridian High’s second girls soccer player in the last two years to win the DSA, Hailey Woods, who is now playing soccer at the College of Idaho, won it last fall as well.  Please click on

Peregrine Elementary

On Friday October 17, eight of the Warrior Ambassador Athletes went and spent the lunch hour with students at Peregrine Elementary, which is a feeder school for MHS.  It was blast for our kids to see how they are viewed and admired from the eyes of an elementary student!


Great job to the Warriorettes for their performance at the Senior Night Pink Out game.
